How does having Bi-Polar disorder affect your sex life?

Does it make you prone to having more or less sex? Hyper-sexuality or A-sexual feelings?

my bf is bipolar. before medication she was avg. with the same guy for about 5 yrs, about 2x a week. since medication she says she feels ambivalent about sex. she doesn't refuse or not want it. she could just go on without it ever being brought up and not think about it.
she also says she'd rather be stable and less libidous than unstable and more libidous.
